I have a recently-funded project in need of a graduate student, to be admitted spring 2014. This project will be applying high-throughput DNA sequencing techniques in the study of meiofaunal communities in the Arctic. The student will be based at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks (PIs Sarah Hardy and Arny Blanchard), but will work closely with myself at UC Davis.
If you know of any good candidates looking for either an MS or PhD position, please share this opportunity with them (full details available in this link to the PDF advertisement). Experience in molecular techniques would be great, but not essential.
